Welcome to CommunityCalendars.org
The CommunityCalendars.org project involved the development of open-source community events calendar software, now available free of charge to Ontario Public Libraries. The aim of the project was to further the role of Public libraries as hubs of community resources and information.  By managing their own community events calendars, public libraries are finding new and innovative ways to support the arts, culture, and heritage sectors.

This project has been made possible through the kind support of the Ministry of Culture’s Library 2007/08 Strategic Development Fund (LSDF) and the Peterborough Public Library. Tekdesk, a not for profit organization, provides ongoing support and development services for the project.
